The Cyber Safety Project offer a range of workshops and presentations designed to engage Primary (F – Year 6) and Secondary (Years 7 – 12) aged students.

CYBER SAFETY CURRICULUM
A comprehensive F-6 whole school learning program
The Cyber Safety Project Curriculum educational resources are underpinned by four key values which are the foundations for thriving in both the offline and online worlds. Instilling strong, positive values in our children empowers the future citizens of the world to be resilient and empathetic and ensures thoughtful decision making in every aspect of their lives.
Each year level offers 16 key activities aligned to the four values of Responsibility, Integrity, Strength and Empathy. For each 2 year band, learners will engage with opportunities to develop fundamental skills and knowledge through the digital safety skills and digital wellbeing strategies mapped to the Australian and Victorian Curriculum.

The Cyber Safety Project is committed to a whole community, proactive approach aimed at building skills and capacity of teachers, students and parents / guardians in digital safety and wellbeing needs for young people.
This session explores the changing landscape of the most popular social networking platforms and provides easy to implement lesson ideas that will arm teachers and students with protective measures for safe online use within the classroom.

Managing Digitally Engaged Children at Home
This session aims at providing parents with the insights and important information about popular social networking and online gaming platforms for young people today. Building a positive and healthy family environment where digital use is encouraged but managed effectively can be a tough balance. We will discuss ways you can ensure your children stay safe through making use of an application’s privacy settings and help them to build positive digital habits through your family’s digital user agreement.
FAMILY WORKSHOPS

Creating Positive and Safe Digital Environments
in the Home
This workshop is designed to bridge the gap between home and school to ensure consistent messages are being communicated between teachers, parents and students. Throughout this workshop, students (with their parents / guardians) will understand the need for Cyber Safety when using digitally connected devices and explore strategies to create a positive digital environment in the home. This workshop includes a hands on component with social networking, gaming and screen time a focus when creating the Family Digital Use Guidelines. This workshop is suitable for Students and Parents of Grade 4 aged children and above.
